Research Topics

The position is funded by the ERC project OPTiMiSE. The research focuses on the analysis of metric structures, gradient flows, dissipative processes, and the evolution of measures. Key areas include:

Optimal transport
Variational analysis of PDEs
Optimization models
Potential applications to Machine Learning

Requirements

Candidates should have (or be close to completing) a PhD in Mathematics or a related field, with a strong background in analysis, PDEs, or optimal transport.
